Ulos Batak Dari Sumatera Utara

Ulos atau sering juga disebut kain ulos adalah salah satu busana khas Indonesia. Ulos secara turun temurun dikembangkan oleh masyarakat Batak, Sumatera.

IKAN BATAK (Neolissochillus Thienemanni sumatranus)

Dari 350 jenis biota air yang tercantum dalam "The 2000 IUCN Redlist of the Threatened Species" (IUCN 2001) dapat diidentifrkasi 14 jenis ikan air tawar Sumatra yang terancam punah, dan 7 jenis diantaranya (50%) termasuk ikan endemic Sumatra. Salah satunya adalah IKAN BATAK (IHAN) Neolissochillus Thienemanni sumatranus yang hanya ada di Danau Toba- Sumatera Utara,. Danau Toba banyak menyimpan spesies endemik yang sangat beragam. Terutama berupa ikan Batak (ihan), spesies Neolissochillus Thienemanni yang hanya ada di Danau Toba
